NAGPUR: After changing curriculum of standard X and XI from present academic session, the Maharashtra state board would be upgrading the same for class XII from the next academic session. The HSC syllabus would be based on the CBSE pattern, which will be a step forward in implementing uniform curriculum across the country.

"Major changes have been made in mathematics and science only," chairman of board Nagpur division Chandramani Borkar told TOI. He said the new syllabus would be a little tough for children, as it would be based on CBSE pattern, but it will help in raising the overall standard of education.
